		<description>Architecture

Designing of space with a focus on a sociality around ‘communal’ areas, providing the inhabitants with novel ways of engagement with each other. A thinking that allows everyday rituals to finally carve the space. Works with objects that others have written off; sees the importance of fabrics and prefers the mixing of both industrial building materials and handcrafted ones for each project. Sees the potential of freeing space for indoor gardens and climbing plants.

		<description>
Unsung Weavers
Unsung Weavers is a series of one-off coats hand-crafted out of woollen blankets salvaged from Mediterranean villages. Each piece is unique; a relic in itself, echoing the long forgotten rituals of rural production while reviving the ancient craft of weaving. Every coat is entirely hand-stitched from a unique pattern based on utilitarian apparel archetypes, such as the shepherd’s overcoat and monastic jacket. Through establishing different production-reproduction analogies and material-imaterial processes in parallel to existing clothing manufacturing conditions, Unsung Weavers is introducing the handcrafted garment as a possible ideological tool, pointing to a subtle renewal of lifestyle.

A 2-dimensional reading of social space and surrounding geometries. Hand dyed, plant -based colored threads and an exercise on patterns echoing more or less organic shapes.&#38;nbsp;

Studied Architecture at Patras University (Greece). After earning a scholarship from the Greek state’s organisation, IKY, completed a MA in Contemporary Visual Art at Camberwell College of Arts (London). Currently based in Athens, Greece, where she works as a freelance architect and designer. With a preference in residential and work-live projects, she alternates thinking from small scale to larger scale: furniture and object designing/making as related and unified with the architecture that contains them.&#38;nbsp;
